Laurel Law School is designed to reflect the principles of fairness and justice while addressing the architectural character of its context. The form emerges from the unique triangular site, blending geometric precision with welcoming curves to create an open and adaptable environment.
Constructed from concrete, with an exterior composed of precast concrete panels, steel, and glass, the building expresses both stability and power. The circular form emphasizes inclusivity and openness, intersecting with the sharp lines of the triangle to symbolize direction and resolution. At the entrance, a welcoming curve guides users inward, reflecting the project’s core values of fairness and approachability. This careful position of forms results in a design that resonates with its context and honors the historic CIGI Campus and the perimeter building while projecting a forward-thinking, adaptable architectural expression. Laurel Law School aims to foster a strong connection between justice, community, and place.
